Making the impossible possible since 1978
Zeltverleih Juchem provides reliable cover for weddings, corporate events, trade fairs, anniversaries and large-scale events. What began as a family business in the Ahr valley is today a partner known for quality, flexibility and bespoke solutions: patented tent construction, production in our own workshop and a team that rolls up its sleeves.
What holds us up
Our success story rests on three pillars: family cohesion, the drive to innovate, and a lived commitment to people.
Family cohesion
The tent rental business has been in family hands since 1978: Friedhelm Juchem built it up, and since 2013 his son Martin Juchem has run it alongside him. Decisions are made within the family, not at a head office. Short distances, one point of contact.
The drive to innovate
The anchor-free heavy-duty flooring is built in our workshop, and it is patented. Added to that is our metalworking division: stainless steel and aluminium structures that bring together function, design and innovation.
A lived commitment to people
In the end it is not the tent that counts, but what happens inside it. That is what the team works towards: advice that listens, a set-up that holds, and commitments we keep.
What keeps me going? When an empty patch of ground turns into a place where people come together, that is when I know why I do this. And I am looking forward to everything still to come.

From the first tents to the patented heavy-duty floor system: the milestones that shaped the company.
- 1978
The beginning
The Juchem family starts the tent rental business in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. The first tents grow into a craft that remains in the family to this day.
- 2005
Re-founded in the Heimersheim business park
A fresh start in the industrial park, with 15 regular customers and 2,500 m² of tent space. In the same year, the owner's brother opens the beverage retailer Getränke Michel next door. Ever since, tent and supplies have come from the same yard.
- 2008
More space on site
Storage and operating space are expanded. More tents in storage means more events that can run at the same time.
- 2013
The second generation
Friedhelm Juchem's son Martin becomes co-managing director. With him comes the metalworking division: stainless steel and aluminium structures from our own workshop.
- 2017
Storage and logistics in Sinzig
Storage and logistics move to Sinzig, onto more than 5,000 m² of production and storage space. This creates the room in which the heavy-duty floors are later manufactured. Head office and administration remain in Heimersheim.
- 2021
The Ahr valley flood
Because of the pandemic, every tent, machine and vehicle is in storage on site when the flood arrives: a total loss. What follows is the rebuild.
- Today
Over 20,000 m² of tent space and a patent
15 employees, over 20,000 m² of tent space including the heavy-duty floors from our own workshop. Since 2025, the anchor-free tent system with transportable heavy-duty floors has been patented. At home in the Ahr valley. On duty throughout Germany. Across Europe with the Manhattan tent.
Innovation & production
PatentedInnovation at ground level: the patented heavy-duty floor system
With its patented heavy-duty floor system, Zeltverleih Juchem sets a new standard in temporary tent construction. The floor elements, built in our own workshop, are laid like slabs and produce a fast, safe and level surface: no drilling, no ground stakes, no damage to the ground below.
A well-conceived connection system interlocks the elements almost invisibly into a closed, extremely load-bearing surface that withstands even high wind loads. Set-up is done by forklift or crane. The system is modular, reusable and suited to a wide range of tent sizes. Whether on grass, asphalt or uneven ground, this innovation makes tent construction possible almost anywhere.

The business next door is family
Getränke Michel is the family's beverage business: run by the owner's brother, in the same business park, at the same address. When a tent needs drinks, tap systems, a bar trailer or service staff, it comes from here — not through a subcontractor, but across the yard.
